Blind describe themselves as a conceptually driven multimedia design studio and full service production company who are able to take a project from inception to completion, without limitations. Chris Do is the founder and creative director of Blind who a situated in Santa Monica and New York City. The studio have fun hundreds of awards and their clients include Budweiser, Ford, Honda, Lexus and Playstation.

I came across Blind after looking at watercolour effects for my final major project and I came across the Gnarls Barkley, Crazy music video that creates the bands faces through watercolours, inks and paints. Here is quote of the process behind the making of the music video.

"'The goal was to create a world of your interpretation' explains Creative Director Vanessa Marzaroli. 'In the ink forms, every viewer can and will see something different".

"To create control of the remarkable organic effect of ink, Blind used a combination of technical wizardry and good ol' fashioned getting their hands dirty. In a studio environment, they created and shot hundreds of inks spats, splashes, and everything in-between. Nine animators worked 14 days straight to meet the deadline, combining, animating, and refining to the perfect balance of emotive ink forms, narrative flow, and face recognition of the stars."

This technique is something that I have been experimenting for my final major project, and after finding it extremely difficult to represent the celebrities in my project, I understand how hard it is because a professional studio took 9 animators 2 weeks to create this process. I will continue to experiment with this technique and try and make realistic targets for myself.
